Working under cars is difficult and often uncomfortable. Using a mechanics creeper can make that experience easier. Still traditional creepers aren't much more than a flat board with casters. Misplacing tools and fasteners while under the vehicle is frustrating and slows down work. Poor lighting complicates simple tasks even more difficult,  Laying down makes getting under the vehicle easier, but once underneath some repairs require you to sit up and reach to access certain areas. This can be uncomfortable or even painful after extended periods of time. Blackbird incorporated an adjustable back support, tool trays and integrated lighting to make working under cars easier.
